May 01, 2010 · I find it easier to revolve a cone using an offset line for the thickness in a part file .ipt (revolve at less then "FULL" I use angle 359). Convert to Sheet Metal and set the thickness in Sheet Metal Defaults to whatever my offset was. Then flat pattern if needed. KC
Is there a way to convert a lofted cone to sheet metal? I know Onshape said they do not support rolled sheet metal at this point. I tried breaking it into many sides by sketching two equal sided polygons and lofting between them, and then step bending that, but that does not work either
